A few days ago, we informed you with a related article about users complaining about this sound problem:
"For the past month or so, the speakers on my Studio monitor have been acting up. Every time I start playing music (or any other audio), it works for a few seconds and then cuts out."
"The sound gets choppy and eventually cuts out completely. Restarting the Mac doesn't help. You literally have to turn on the entire Studio display(s). It happens to me about every 5-6 weeks."
The Studio Display firmware can be updated by connecting it to a Mac. Studio Display owners can go to System Preferences > Software Update to install the firmware.

According to code changes spotted by 9to5Mac, the Studio Display Firmware Update made several changes to the webcam and Center Stage frameworks. What's interesting to see is that the company is using the same build number 15.5 as the previous firmware update, although it's not the same version that fixed the camera issue
