Microsoft has unveiled the new Start Menu design for Windows 10. The upcoming changes were revealed during a Windows Insider podcast and are designed to visually differentiate the Start Menu. The new menu is characterized by a simpler and more minimalistic form as it contains fewer chaotic colors, while at the same time it does not place a special emphasis on Live Tiles , without this meaning that Microsoft stops using them. In addition, the company will reduce the colors of the blocks to make the Start Menu look more uniform and refined. The company has already removed Live Tiles from the Start Menu in Windows 10X, but as Brandon Le Blanc , a senior program manager at Microsoft, emphasized, the Live Tiles interface will not be removed from the main desktop OS in any way despite the new direction, and those who enjoy Live Tiles will continue to use them for a long time to come. However, it is understood that Live Tiles will disappear completely in the future. Not all built-in apps support them, and developer support is not particularly strong.

According to sources familiar with the matter, Microsoft has not yet planned anything specific or final regarding Live Tiles, but feedback from the changes that will be made to Windows 10 will determine what will happen in the future.
The new Start Menu is completely different compared to the existing menu as it is intended to make it easier for users to search for applications they want to launch and at the same time show them a list of the most recent documents.
Overall, it has become clear that Microsoft wants to implement many modifications to change the existing Windows 10 interface. This is due to the fact that the new Start Menu emerged shortly after the company began rolling out new icons for Windows 10 1909.
