Mark Gurman reported that the new MacBook Pro models with OLED displays will be "significantly lighter" than existing MacBook Pro models. This development comes as part of a broader effort by Apple to improve the portability and usability of its laptops, which is especially important for professionals and users who are constantly on the go.
The weight reduction is achieved through a redesign of the device's interior, where Apple has made components smaller and rearranged them, making the computer much easier to transport.
Reducing the weight of the new MacBook Pro models could bring them closer to the weight of the MacBook Air, thus offering a lighter option for those who need the power of a Pro but with the portability of an Air.
