Are you one of those people who constantly worry about losing your laptop? If the answer is yes, then it's time to calm down. Intel , in collaboration with Tile , a smart location company, will bring tracking technology to laptops.

Tile is a leading company in its field, and is widely known for its Bluetooth tracking, which you place on any object and allow you to locate it through apps on iOS and Android without an internet connection.
While we don't have much information at this time about how the tracking device will work on laptops, the two companies are in talks with several computer manufacturers to ensure optimal performance.
Bluetooth also has a “community find” feature that uses the entire network to locate lost devices. If this works for laptops, it will make our lives a lot easier.

The company emphasized that what will give them the advantage is that finding the location will be possible even when the computer is in sleep mode, something we have never seen before since most finding capabilities are usually software and require the internet.
Tile estimates that over the next 5 years it will have the potential to target over 30 billion devices.
If all goes well, this technology will be in laptops powered by Intel processors by the end of the year.
