Samsung is working on several new devices that could increase its lead over rivals like Apple and Huawei, and one of them is a gaming phone.
The truth is that there is not much information available about the company's new project, but there are many who are talking about the arrival of a gaming device.
From a technical perspective, the company will likely rely on the Galaxy series to create a device that will be optimized specifically for gaming that will feature a larger battery and more storage space.
Rumors suggest that the new Galaxy gaming phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 chip paired with 8GB of RAM. Samsung will likely borrow technology from other phones, including the cooling system found on the Note 9, to deliver an unparalleled gaming experience.
What also interests us is the choice of screen to be used in this model, as the curved edges (a trademark of the newer models of the Galaxy series) are not suitable for a gaming device.
As for the launch date of this model, it's obviously a bit early to know, but Samsung will be holding a developer event next month so we could get a better taste of what it's preparing.
For information, during the event a preview of the foldable screen that Samsung is theoretically preparing for us may be presented.
