Apple's next big event is scheduled for September 9. We're expecting the iPhone 17 series, the Apple Watch Ultra 3 and Series 11, and the AirPods Pro 3. But beyond these almost certain products, what other new products could Apple introduce? Here's a look at five devices that could make an appearance in the coming days.

AirTags 2
Of all the surprise products in the works, the AirTag 2 seems particularly likely to be unveiled next week. Apple's original AirTag was released in 2021, and we expect its successor to debut sometime in 2025. It doesn't seem unreasonable to announce it at the September event, as Apple is promoting the AirTag as an accessory for the iPhone.

September events are mostly dedicated to the latest iPhones, but Apple also tends to release products that fit the description of 'iPhone accessories'— like the Apple Watch and AirPods. So the AirTag 2 could make an appearance next week.

Apple TV 4K
It's been three years since the last Apple TV 4K was released, and the new hardware is almost here. The new Apple TV 4K is expected to feature the A17 Pro chip, which should enable support Apple Intelligence. Bloomberg says the new hardware will be released by the end of the year. That could mean an October release, perhaps alongside some announcements about AI features for tvOS 26.1.
The iPhone 17 event will likely be too crowded to accommodate new Apple TV hardware. But if Apple decides to use the event to promote Apple TV+ and its big fall lineup, then we might see the new Apple TV 4K as well.

HomePod mini 2
The HomePod mini 2 could be released by the end of the year, according to Bloomberg. Overall, the HomePod is a fairly small product in Apple's lineup, so it doesn't necessarily need much time to launch. However, Apple could combine the new Apple TV 4K and the HomePod mini 2 at its launch event to promote productsApple Home'. In that case, the HomePod mini 2's launch would depend a lot on when Apple wants to show off its latest Apple TV hardware.
But it's more likely that Apple will save its new Home products for an October release, as September will already have four new iPhones, three Apple Watch models, and AirPods Pro 3.

M5 iPad Pro
It's been a while since Apple has announced a new iPad at a September event. Other times, though, Apple waits until October. This year, the new M5 iPad Pro is unlikely to debut before October. That's because it's expected to be the first product to feature the new M5 chip. And Apple always likes to take extra time to show off its advancements in this area. A detailed presentation of the M5 and a new iPad Pro probably wouldn't fit into an already packed event. It's more likely that we'll see the new iPad Pro launch sometime in October.

Vision Pro 2
Finally, Apple is expected to release new Vision Pro hardware this fall. There are conflicting reports about the chip in the Vision Pro 2, and that chip could have an impact on the release schedule. Ming-Chi Kuo says it will have the new M5, so it will almost certainly debut at the same time as the M5 iPad Pro—so October is more likely. Mark Gurman, however, believes the new chip will be an M4. In that case, Apple could potentially fit a brief segment for the Vision Pro into the September event.
