On December 7, 2022, around midday in the UK, many Amazon users took to Downdetector to report that the page was down.
81% of users said they encountered problems with checkout, while 11% reported difficulties with the app.
Only 9 percent of users said that website problems came from the website.
Users are experiencing difficulties checking out after placing orders online.
Amazon has yet to comment publicly about the outage.

This was the third time users have experienced an outage on platforms since late June 2021, but services were quickly restored each time.
In early June, one person's settings change caused the Amazon, Twitter and HMRC websites to crash.
According to the website Downdetector, over 31,000 outages were reported for the website on Sunday night.
Over thirty thousand Amazon customers reported outages as of 11:00 PM EST.
More than three-quarters of those who reported problems said they had a problem with the website, while 15% said they couldn't log in and 5% had problems with checkout.
