Thanks to an update to Google Chrome on desktop that we can confirm is now live, users can easily search existing tabs, Chrome history, and bookmarks directly from the address bar.

Use the shortcuts @tabs, @bookmarks and @history
We now have the ability to use the site search shortcuts @tabs, @bookmarks, and @history that are built into Chrome's address bar.
@Tabs is a program that makes it easy to search for a specific tab when you have too many open. To use @Tabs, type “@tabs” in the address bar, click the “search tabs” button, and then type the title of the tab you’re looking for. Personally, I open too many tabs when planning trips. @Tabs can navigate through my open tabs for flights, hotels, activities , and rental cars to find the right tab. Combined with tab groups, @tabs will make the whole process easier.
The @bookmarks shortcut is extremely useful if you want to check the availability of a hotel you bookmarked . This feature allows users to find their bookmark quickly and easily from the address bar, without having to search through all their folders.
Have you ever searched for something on the internet and found that the website you needed is nowhere to be found? I wish there was a way to search your old websites… Well, now there is! @history is a shortcut that allows users to quickly search their browsing history directly from the address bar. So, the next time you can’t find that site you’re looking for, give @history a try.
