It looks like the PlayStation Plus Essential games lineup for July 2022 has been leaked ahead of the official reveal, which is set to take place on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. The leak comes again from Dealabs user billbil-kun who has released several PS Plus updates in the past. As such, there's no reason to doubt the reliability of this latest leak.

billbil-kun has been accurately leaking PS Plus lineups almost every month since September 2021 so let's see what he claims.
According to billbil-kun, the three games that will be available from July 5th to August 2nd will be the following:
- Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time (PS5/PS4)
- The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan (PS4)
- Arcadegeddon (PS5/PS4)
PlayStation Plus Essential is the new name for the basic PS Plus subscription service, where players get access to a few "free" games each month.
Players can continue to play these games even after they become unavailable at the end of the monthly period, as long as they remain a PlayStation Plus Essential subscriber (or higher).

Once their subscription expires, they will no longer be able to play these games until they sign up again.
June's PlayStation Plus games are still available to claim until July 4th. What are they? God of War (2018), Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl.

June marks the first month that the new PS Plus is available globally, with the Extra and Premium tiers launching in the US on June 13 and in Europe on June 22. All current PS Plus features will still be available for the same price through PS Plus Essentials, so if all you want is access to online multiplayer and the usual three free games each month, nothing changes for you.
