If you're a Windows 10 user who likes changes, you could move your taskbar to a new location – like the top of your screen. Of course, it works exactly the same as before, including the Start menu. Here's how to make the necessary adjustments.

First, right-click on your taskbar and uncheck “Lock the taskbar” in the menu that appears. This allows you to move the taskbar to a new location.

Once the taskbar is unlocked, click and drag the taskbar to the top of the screen , then release the mouse button

Once you do the process, the taskbar will stay there for as long as you want, constantly defying gravity.

You'll notice that when the taskbar is at the top of the screen, it works exactly like it did when it was at the bottom ,just in a different orientation. You can even open the Start menu and it will appear on top.

Feel free to experiment with other taskbar locations, such as vertical orientation on the left or right side of your screen. Also, few people know this, but you can change the height of the taskbar while it's unlocked.
Once you’re done, you might want to lock the taskbar in place so you don’t accidentally move it . Simply right-click on the taskbar and place a check mark next to “Lock the taskbar” in the pop-up menu . Have fun customizing Windows !
