Google Duo is an easy-to-use video calling app, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have other powerful features. If you want to show the other people you're chatting with what's going on on your phone, the Screen Share feature is a feature you should try.

Screen sharing is considered a useful feature for work-related meetings, but it can also be useful for personal calls. Google Duo's screen sharing feature is available on phones and tablets running Android 8.0 and later. See below for how it works.
First, open the Google Duo app on your Android device, then select the person you want to video call.

Press the “Video Call” button to start the call.

After answering the call, you'll see some buttons at the bottom of the screen - tap on the screen if they disappear. Select the button with three stars to reveal more options.

Then, tap the “Screen Share” option.

A message will appear explaining that screen sharing will give Google Duo access to the information on your screen. Tap “Start Now” to get started if you’re okay with that.

Finally, you can choose whether you also want to share audio from videos or apps on your screen. Tap “Don't Share” or “Share Audio.”

Your screen will now be shared. You can show anything you want from your phone or tablet. The red icon you see below indicates when you are sharing your screen.

To stop sharing your screen, return to the Duo video call screen and tap “Screen Share” again. This will not end the video call you are on.

You're all set! You can easily turn screen sharing on and off whenever you want to show something to someone else.
