According to the company, the new product will be based on the ARM64 architecture, which is also what Ubuntu Touch is built for. However, while this is the default system on the device, users can also use other operating systems such as Manjaro Linux and GNOME 3.36.

Although the release date of the PINETAB is not known, users can now pre-order it from the official PINE64 website. The cost is $99.99, and according to the company, users who have already pre-ordered can expect their tablet at the end of July.
