Microsoft releases the Skype feature called “Meet now” in Microsoft Edge, embedding the feature into the new tab, also known as NTP.
With this new feature, Microsoft aims to help consumers who rely on video conferencing get in touch with colleagues, friends and relatives without having to create a Skype or Microsoft account.

Last month, Microsoft added the Skype Meet feature to preview builds of Windows 10, and the same feature is now rolling out to Microsoft Edge.
Microsoft will add a small video conferencing button to the new tab page of Edge when the feature rolls out to your device, as shown below:

When you click the Meet Now button, Edge will open Skype Web and launch the Meet Now setup screen . This will allow you to create a meeting and others will be able to join using the invite link.

Once created, you can use any of the options you want chat, voice call, and video to communicate with participants.
Other features of Microsoft Edge
Today, Microsoft also announced a new feature called “Price comparison” for Microsoft Edge that will help you find the best prices on the market.
This new feature will help you easily compare the price of a product you want at other retailers with just one click and is designed to help you find the best price when shopping online.
To get started, you need to add a product to a collection and click on “compare price to other retailers” to compare the price of a product with other retailers.
Additionally, Microsoft is releasing a “Web capture” feature that will help you take a snapshot of a “web article” for sharing in a PowerPoint.
