A new feature is coming to the Google Play Store that will provide information to the user about the capacity status of their phone. This particular feature was noticed by a user on the Reddit platform, who reported that Google added an indicator that shows the capacity status on Android phones.

How will you detect it?
To enable and use this feature, open the Google Play Store app and check the “My apps & games” category for the feature, then head to the “Installed” tab to see the storage status. The new “storage status” not only shows you the available space left, but also suggests apps you can delete to free up extra space. All you need to do is tap on the “Storage status” bar, and then after you see the “Free up space” window, you will be able to uninstall any app you want to get rid of.

In addition to this new and very useful change, it is worth noting that Google removed 85 apps from the Play Storethat were infected with adware. These apps were popular, having been downloaded 9 million times. In particular, the app that had been downloaded more than 5 million times was “Easy Universal TV Remote”. The types of adware that affected the apps included games and remote control apps. In fact, these apps were capable of showing full-screen ads and controlling the device screen with the unlock function to users. For this reason, Google immediately removed them.
