The 12 teams that made it to the final of the COSMOTE HACKATHON
Twelve teams that aspire to make the world a better place with their ideas have qualified for the final of the 2nd COSMOTE HACKATHON, a marathon innovation and technology competition . The final will be held on May 12 and 13 at the OTEAcademy facilities.
The teams that made it to the final are: COSMOKE, e-Suppliers, eyeSphere / Meet Culture, GuestFlip, La-kenak team, MaGOS, ML Ninja, Octably app, Proof it, RecyTrust, SPACEPRK and TremorFreeMe. They will be invited to work for more than 24 hours without interruption, in a specially designed space, in order to complete their proposal and present innovative solutions for the new digital era. These solutions will include, among others, Internet of Things and Virtual Reality applications, proposals for a better Customer Experience and the creation of mobile applications.
More than 20 expert mentors from the business and academic community will be by the teams’ side to support them, offering practical advice and guidance throughout the final. In addition, on Friday, May 11, COSMOTE HACKATHON participants will have the opportunity to meet with industry figures who will talk to them about the unlimited possibilities that the new digital era brings. The 12 teams will be addressed by: Konstantinos Daskalakis, Associate Professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT. (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), Elias Soussis, Head of Domestic Market & YouTube of Google Greece, Cyprus & Malta, Rustam Ziganshin, Agency Partner CEE, Facebook and Katerina Pramatari, Associate Professor at the Department of Administrative Science and Technology & scientific manager of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support (ACEin) of the Athens University of Economics and Business.
The COSMOTE HACKATHON is held in collaboration with ACEin , with COSMOTE TV as the communication sponsor and with the support of GERMANOS . GERMANOS will put participants at the heart of technology, giving them the opportunity to live unique experiences and try out exciting new technologies in the specially designed experiential space, G Tech Lounge .
