Windows Defender Application Guard: Coming to Windows 10 Pro

Microsoft is working hard to make Windows 10 a more secure operating system for everyone, and as part of the upcoming Redstone 4 update, the company will bring the exclusive Windows Defender Application Guard (WDAG) to the Pro SKU .
The first build to bring these changes is 17063, with Windows Defender Application Guard available to everyone with its official release in spring 2018.Windows Defender Application Guard
WDAG is a feature that protects computers from targeted threats using Hyper-V virtualization technology, and Microsoft even emphasizes that thanks to this new technology, Edge becomes “the most secure browser in the world.”
Microsoft says that the addition of WDAG was based on feedback from users who wanted this technology on their Windows 10 systems.
“Microsoft is bringing Windows Defender Application Guard to Windows 10 Professional with the next update to Windows 10. Windows 10 Pro users can surf the Internet knowing that their systems are protected from even the most sophisticated attacks,” Microsoft says.
It should be noted that Windows Defender has been significantly improved recently, and the latest Windows 10 updates have brought significant changes. For example, Windows Defender was expanded into Windows Defender Security Center with the release of the Windows 10 Creators Update earlier this year. Essentially, it groups all the security features on a PC, including antivirus, firewall and network protection, application and browser control, and general device management.
