Windows 10 Build 17063: Comes with more improvements than we expected

Microsoft has released Windows 10 Redstone 4 preview Build 17063 to the Fast rings and this time the new features it introduces are much more than we expected.
In build 17063 we first encounter Timeline, the new feature that allows Windows 10 users to repeat past activities on a computer or other computers as well as on iOS and Android devices, as long as the same Microsoft account is used.Build 17063
Timeline launches via a new icon in the taskbar and is based on activities, with cards displaying information about each restored app.
“In Timeline, a user activity is the combination of a specific app and a specific piece of content that you are working on at a specific time. Each activity is directly linked to a web page, document, article, playlist, or task, saving you time when you want to repeat the activity later,” Microsoft explains.
We also find some improvements in the digital assistant, Cortana, which can now suggest continuing activities depending on the device you switch to.
Edge is also being overhauled, and one of the most notable improvements is that of Fluent Design.
Features that allow tabs to be opened across the operating system will also be available with the new build, although Microsoft plans to gradually roll out this feature to users.
Of course, there are many other improvements including new options for the Snipping tool, improvements to Windows Settings with Fluent Design, security questions for local accounts, high DPI tweaks, WSL support for background tasks, and new development tools like bsdtar and curl support.
All of these new features are expected to be officially available in spring 2018 with Windows 10 Redstone 4.
