Mykonos Mayor Christos Veronis inaugurates the CSI Institute on the island of the winds
CSI Institute, the leading cybersecurity training institute, has landed in Mykonos and is preparing to take off... to another level!
On Saturday, June 28 at 7:30 PM, at the "Delos" shopping center in Mykonos, the inauguration of the first International Cybersecurity Institute on a Greek island will take place, in the presence and with the official opening by the Mayor of Mykonos, Mr. Christos Veronis.
This is a pioneering initiative, as for the first time in Greece, an entire island population will be trained in an organized manner – over a period of eight months – on issues of safe use of the internet and protection from cyber threats.
Education will be provided free of charge to all residents of the island, regardless of age or professional activity.
Mykonos, a global tourism gateway and symbol of extroversion, is now acquiring its own digital shield. From children and parents, to seniors and businesspeople, everyone will have the opportunity to acquire the appropriate equipment against the electronic storm that is now affecting our country.
With 4.6 million views already – before it even opened its doors in Mykonos – the CSI Institute is more than just an educational center. It's a fashion, it's a trend, it's a necessity.
From today, the island will not only have beach bars, but also Cyber Security Hubs.
