iOS 11 may have only been out for a week, but Apple has already released its first update.

The company released update 11.0.1 on Tuesday, which includes a major fix for a bug that caused some users a serious problem.
The update fixes a bug that prevented some people from using their Microsoft email accounts to send messages, according to the company's support website. Specifically, the bug affected Outlook.com and Office 365 users, who saw an error message when trying to send emails.

The update to iOS 11.0.1 will fix this problem, according to the company.
As always, you can update your device to the latest version from your main app, Settings -> General -> Software Update.
Although the email bug is the first to be fixed, it's likely that there will be more iOS 11 updates and bug fixes that will appear sooner or later, as there are always quite a few issues that crop up in the weeks following a major new release.
Apple is also expected to introduce some major new features, such as a Venmo-like payment feature, in upcoming iOS 11 updates later this year.
