The wait is over. Reservations for electric SUV EV9 Kia's officially begin this month in the United States, specifically on October 16th.
“The Kia EV9 represents the future of sustainable mobility, and this reservation program will allow interested customers to be among the first in line for one of the most highly anticipated new vehicles to hit the U.S. market,” said Steven Center, COO and EVP at Kia America.
Kia unveiled its largest electric SUV in March, showcasing the company for the future with a groundbreaking new design and advanced technological features.

The EV9 will start at $54,900 and will be available in four trims: Light Long Range RWD, Wind AWD, Land AWD, and the sporty GT-Line AWD.
Those who reserve the EV9 SUV before November 27 will be eligible for some perks – gifts including a Webasto Go Dual Voltage portable charger (valued at $549), a free three-year Kia maintenance plan, and one year of digital features and services.
Kia says it expects “significant interest” for the EV9 SUV.

Using E-GMP (the same used for the IONIQ 5), the EV9 is the first model to use technology . The 800V platform enables DC fast charging from 10% to 80% in less than 25 minutes.
The EV9 is slightly larger than the Kia Telluride, with a length of 197.2 inches, while they have almost the same height and width.
Kia has packed its most advanced technology into this car, including the sixth-generation Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC). The new infotainment system includes faster processing, easy accessibility, OTA updates, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
There is a large screen and beneath it there are hidden switches for infotainment functions. Meanwhile, physical buttons have been added for volume, temperature and fan speed.
The EV9 will initially be built in South Korea and shipped to the US, with 2024 models expected to hit showrooms by the end of the year.
