The "Among Us" special mode won't be coming soon

Among Us is a video game that has become very popular, especially during the quarantine, with millions of players around the world. The game was developed by InnerSloth, a company owned by three people who are trying very hard to meet the demands of players.

However, one of the players' demands, the "Custom Map Creator", cannot be fulfilled by the creators at this time. "Among Us" players have been asking for this special feature, but the developers have made it clear that it will not be available anytime soon.

On October 1st, the developers appeared on Weekly Gaming Show . During the show, the developers announced that they are working on a fourth stage for Among Us, which currently has three stages. The three of them also confirmed that they like the idea of custom maps in Among Us. However, they are unable to implement this feature in the current version of the game.

To allow players to create their own stages in the game, they will need to provide them with elements , which are not present in the current version of Among Us. This is because all maps in the game are hand-drawn.

"The maps are currently completely hand-drawn. There are no tile sets or anything like that, so we're essentially having to redefine how we make our maps," said Marcus Bromander of InnerSloth.

To create map elements, developers will need to cut out each element from existing maps. These elements can then be used by players to create their own custom maps.

However, creating elements from scratch would take a lot of time and effort. And for now, the developers are focused on protecting the game from malicious actors.

So, a “Custom Map Creator” will only be possible when the developers are fully satisfied with the core gameplay experience of Among Us.
