Microsoft has released another new Windows 10 preview build to Insiders on the Dev Channel. Windows 10 Build 20221, released on September 23, features a Skype Meet Now button available on the Windows 10 taskbar.
Microsoft already announced the Meet Now feature in Skype earlier this year. But by bringing the icon for it to the taskbar , Microsoft is trying to make it easier for users to quickly make video calls without having to sign up or download Skype. Yes, as is obvious, this is intended to help Microsoft combat the growing popularity of Zoom.

Official Microsoft representatives said that this feature will only be released today to a subset of Windows Insiders who are on the Dev Channel, but will gradually be made available to everyone on the Dev Channel.
Microsoft has made a number of fixes to the feature build 20221, which it mentions in its blog post about the new release. There's also a list of known issues.
In related news, Microsoft is adding a new feature to the “Your Phone” app that allows users to pin important notifications to the top of their notification stream. Officials said the feature will be gradually rolling out to all “Your Phone” app users over the next few days.
