A few weeks ago, Clem Lefebvre announced the beta version of the new Linux Mint 20 'Ulyana'. Today, according to the status on the operating system's website, Lefebvre has approved the stable version of Linux Mint 20 for release.
At the moment, however, there is no official information about the new operating system. Even on the official website of the operating system, there is no information about the changes in Linux Mint 20. However, the stable Cinnamon, MATE and Xfce are already available for download.
It is important to know, however, that some of the mirrors have not yet been updated, resulting in the latest version not being available everywhere. If you are in a hurry to download Linux Mint 20, you can choose some of the mirrors in Ireland or the Netherlands. After you go to the mirror, you will need to select the version of the operating system you wish to download. After selecting the version, the download will start automatically.
The operating system development team will likely announce the changes soon, but until then, you can find some details here.

One of the already known details is that Linux Mint 20 'Ulyana' is based on Ubuntu 20.04LTS. In addition, the new operating system contains the 5.4 kernel, thanks to which the system has better performance.
In addition to the appearance changes, Linux Mint 20 also includes a new applicationcalled Warpinator. Using this application, users can share files on the local network.
Another major change is the removal of snap support. Back in early May, Clem announced that the development team had decided to remove snaps and snapd from Linux Mint 20. For the same reason, the new operating system contains a script that prohibits the installation of packages. However, users can block this script, and re-enable this support.
