New security updates for Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader have been released by the company, to fix a significant number of vulnerabilities ranging from information disclosure to arbitrary code execution.
Adobe usually releases security updates in conjunction with Microsoft 's security updates , but this month the latter hasn't released anything yet.
Yesterday, Adobe released security updates that patch 13 vulnerabilities, with 4 of them rated as "important" since they could lead to information disclosure or privilege escalation.
The remaining 9 were rated "critical" as they could allow an attacker to create malicious PDF files or perform other malicious actions and could exploit these vulnerabilities to execute commands on the affected computer.
With the security updates it released for Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader, the company is patching several vulnerabilities that, if exploited, could cause problems such as information disclosure or arbitrary code.

Adobe recommends that users upgrade to the latest versions of Acrobat DC, Acrobat Reader DC, Acrobat 2017, Acrobat Reader 2017, Acrobat 2015, and Acrobat Reader 2015 to stay safe from potential attacks.
