Microsoft has some good news for Windows 7 fans. As you know, the company will stop supporting security updates for Windows 7 starting in January 2020. However, it has already announced that some customers will be able to receive some updates (Windows 7 Extended Security Updates-ESUs) after that deadline. Now, Microsoft has said that the updates will be available to more customers.
Company representatives announced yesterday that the updates will be available to all businesses of all sizes and not just large companies that have agreements to obtain the updates.
Starting December 1, 2019, all businesses (small, medium, and large) will be able to purchase Windows 7 Extended Security Updates if they want to keep Windows 7 beyond January 14, 2020, when free support for the product ends. Small and medium businesses will be able to purchase the updates for up to three years from Cloud Solution Provider partners.
Before yesterday's announcement, we knew that Windows 7 extended updates would only be available to Windows 7 Professional and Windows 7 Enterprise, who had made special agreements.

As we said above, updates will be available for another three years, until January 2023. Microsoft employees had announced this last fall. These updates will be patches and fixes , like the ones Microsoft offers for free to Windows 7 users now
However, Windows 7 update prices won't be cheap, especially for businesses that want to install them on multiple computers. Microsoft said the price of the Pro version of Windows will be higher than that of the Enterprise version. Enterprise users will pay $25 per device in the first year and $100 per device in the third year. Pro users, on the other hand, will pay $50 per device in the first year and $200 in the third year.
