If you're one of those users who avoids using Samsung Music on your Galaxy device, this new design update might convince you to use the app again. After all, Samsung doesn't give you the option to delete it, so why not give it a try?
The new Galaxy App update adds a bunch of changes. Starting with the interface, the design brings simplicity to Samsung. The new tabbed design lets you quickly navigate between favorites, playlists, tracks, albums, and more.
In addition to the minimalist look, the new Samsung Music app also adds a Spotify tab. While the app doesn't connect the two apps, you'll get playlist suggestions and information about new releases.
Unfortunately, this integration is only superficial. When searching for songs in the Spotify, the Samsung app takes you to the official Spotify app.
Of course, Spotify integration is subject to the streaming service being available in the country the user lives in. Nevertheless, it looks like a good start to Samsung's long-term partnership with Spotify, which was announced at the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 event.
Samsung Music v16.2.14.14 also introduces crossfade. A feature that Samsung fans have been asking for for a long time is finally being integrated into the new update. This feature makes the music playing fade out gradually once you close the app, instead of cutting off abruptly.
You can download the new Samsung Music app from Galaxy Apps. You can also pick up the app APK from here.
