Microsoft recently released a new update for the preview version of Office for iOS and has begun testing it to make as many improvements as possible before the version is released to all users worldwide.
Office for iOS, which can be installed on both iPhone and iPad, has been significantly improved in recent months, and the Insider program is responsible for this. As part of the program, users can try out new features before the version is released as an update in the App Store for all iOS devices, thus sending feedback to the company to improve performance and fix potential bugs.
As Microsoft explains, this new version includes options to “set things straight,” which means that Office for iOS now comes with a digital ruler that is supposed to help you draw straight lines or align sets of objects. This is a feature that is already available in other versions of Microsoft Office, so with this version, iOS are in sync with the features on other computers.
Additionally, this update brings a second improvement for PowerPoint, allowing users to convert hyperlinks to any color they want.
Changing the color of a hyperlink is quite easy. All you need to do is select the hyperlink you want to edit and go to Home, click on Font Color and choose the color you want. It's that simple!
Please note that since this is a preview version, some bugs could still exist, although Insider has helped eliminate them.
