The iPhone X display can fit 14 home screens

Ten years ago, the iPhone's original 3.5-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 320 was considered large, spacious, and high-resolution.

A decade later, the iPhone X's "Super Retina" display has so many pixels that it could fit 14 original iPhone screens on its single OLED screen. Isn't that incredible?

The iPhone X has the largest and highest resolution display of any iPhone ever made. The model's display measures 5.8 inches (diagonally) and while it's not completely full-screen (#notchlife), the pixels are packed quite tightly from corner to corner with a resolution of 2,436 x 1,125 at 458 ppi.

In comparison, the original iPhone only had 163 ppi (modern technology for the time, but nothing great by today's standards).

This is the technology that, a decade ago, meant that a 3.5-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 320 was considered large, spacious, and high-resolution.

Still, all this innovation makes us wonder what the iPhone screen will look like in 2027. How big will it be? Will we have holograms floating outside the screen? Will there be iPhones with foldable screens? It's hard to imagine what the world will be like in 10 years, but it's also exciting at the same time.
