The first shipments to those who pre-ordered the iPhone X will begin in just a few days.
Many have reported that Apple is having issues with Face ID. Now, the company itself has revealed another problem with the iPhone X: the existence of apps that are not configured to support its display.
The iPhone X is the first model to feature an OLED display with a size that has never been used before on an iOS device. However, the combination of the new size and the different notch makes apps look awful on the iPhone X, and if developers don't release the necessary updates soon, many users will be unhappy.
Apple is in no hurry to fix the problem, while things are much more serious than they think, as a screenshot from a video showing the iPhone X confirms that the Apple Store app has not been properly displayed on the device either. The company has not yet sent out any updates for its apps so that they can be viewed clearly on the new screen.
In most cases, Apple sends out updates for its apps immediately. So, the Store app could finally be optimized by Friday, but the company should have taken care of that before sending units to various tech sites.
However, this is not the first time that iOS apps have had to be updated to look good on an iPhone as the same thing happened when Apple introduced the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. It took quite a while for all their apps to be updated and it will likely be the same this time too.
