Moto G5 and G5 Plus: Motorola is set to announce two new smartphones at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2017, which will take place on February 26. Yes, we're talking about the Moto G5 and G5 Plus. However, the specifications of the two phones have already been leaked over the past few weeks.
The latest leak from Droid-Life confirms the rumors and reveals everything about the two new phones. The new leak of the G5 and G5 Plus comes from Ktronix, an online marketplace based in Spain. The post has since been deleted but news travels very fast. So here are some photos that list all the features of the two devices. 
There are two mid-range smartphones that will be released in two color variants.
The smaller Moto G5 will feature a 5-inch FHD display with 441 ppi, while the G5 Plus will have a 5.2-inch screen with the same pixel resolution, but at 424 ppi. Both devices will have Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and will run Android 7.0.
The G5 will have storage of 32GB, while the G5 Plus comes with 64GB. Both devices support a microSD card up to 128GB. The RAM will be the same for both phones, just 2GB, and the front camera will be 5MP. The rear camera for the G5 is 13MP, while the G5 Plus camera will be dual auto-focus at 12MP.
The G5 “wears” a 2,800 mAh battery with fast charging, while the Plus model comes with a 3,000 mAh battery with TurboPower charging. The G5 will feature an octa-core 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 430 SoC, while the G5 Plus will run with an octa-core Snapdragon 625 clocked at 2.0 GHz.
Both phones will have water-repellent coating, fingerprint readers, and Bluetooth 4.2.
