Support for digital activism.

Lush Cosmetics has announced the launch of a charity product, Error 404, with proceeds going to the Digital Fund in support of “Access Now,” an initiative against internet shutdowns, also known as “blackouts.” “Blackouts” are essentially the disruption of the internet and mobile phones by the state as a means of control.

Support for independent bookstores.

This is an event that started in England in 2015 and is aimed at book lovers who want to support independent booksellers. By using the hashtag #CivilisedSaturday, interested parties can see which nearby bookstores are participating in the program.

Support for children's charities.

FatFace retailers are inviting people to a Fell Good Friday. The company announced that a portion of the proceeds from November 21st to 28th will be donated to local charities.

Support for homeless charities.

The PieMinister store initiative in England is admirable. It essentially gives away pies to those who donate money or anything else they want to homeless charities. Shops from ten regions of the country are participating and it starts after November 25th.

It remains to be seen whether the Greek market will adopt similar practices.Black Friday Black Friday
