Watch how a tattoo machine can be built with limited materials, inside a prison
When you think of a prison the first thing that comes to mind is the prisoners: criminals, thieves, rapists, etc. may be in prison for crimes they have committed. However, these people can turn out to be as resourceful as we are. We have read news stories about how these criminals have managed to turn any sharp object into a weapon that even John Rambo would envy! However, here we present to you something completely different.
A machine that makes tattoos
In a post on Facebook and making the rounds on Digg, prison inmates use a pen, a Walkman, some paper clips, a few rubber bands, and a set of batteries to turn it into a fully functional tattoo machine. The motor, batteries, and switch come from a Walkman they disassembled.
The ink for tattoos comes from the pen, the needle is made from the paperclip, and the rubber bands work to hold it all together.
The prison where this makeshift tattoo machine was made is not known, but we can appreciate how clever the inmates are at creating various things with really limited resources.
