The man who appeared before Congress last week to explain the security pitfalls at HealthCare.gov appeared on Fox News on Sunday to explain how easy it was to infiltrate the website.
Cyber-breach expert David Kennedy told Fox he accessed 70,000 personal Obamacare records through HealthCare.gov and it took about 4 minutes and a standard browser to do it, the Daily Caller reports.
“And 70,000 was just one of the numbers I was able to get to and I stopped after that,” he said. “You know, I’m sure it’s hundreds of thousands, if not more, and that was within a 4-minute time frame. So, it’s wide open.” “You can literally open your browser, visit the page, and extract all of this information without having to hack the website itself,” he said.
