A new agreement between Pinterest and Telefónica benefits Android users of the telecommunications provider, bringing them an official widget as part of the Pinterest application. This widget allows the user to view their Pins feed , as well as notifications , without having to open the application, directly from the home screen of their smartphone or tablet. Even when not connected, the user will be able to view some of the most popular Pins.
The widget is currently only available in the UK for Telefónica (O2) customers, with more countries coming soon. The widget will come pre-installed on Telefónica (O2) devices, but will also be available as part of the official Pinterest app for Android.
