Meta 's social networking platform Instagram has introduced new features to improve the messaging experience.

Instagram has introduced 17 new packs with over 300 stickers for use in private messages.
Users can also create their own stickers, adding them to conversations. An interesting feature allows naming conversations and creating nicknames for contacts, with the nicknames appearing only in private conversations.

There's also the ability to share live location for up to an hour, helping users locate each other at events. This feature is currently available in select countries.

There is also the possibility of adding a song sharing feature in partnership with Spotify, allowing users to share the music they are listening to through the Notes feature.

Additionally, Meta is considering adding thematic decorations and effects to enrich conversations, as well as introducing new tools for better notification management and user privacy protection.
