There is also no further indication of what this new factory will produce, but Nikkei Asia reports that an anonymous source claims it will be for production . It may also be for product.

Foxconn's increased production in India may be due to many of Apple's suppliers moving there from China. Foxconn's investment in the new factory in India is of great importance to the Indian economy. First, this investment will create jobs for Indian citizens, thereby helping to reduce unemployment and alleviate poverty. The jobs that will be created will concern both product manufacturing (iPhone if reports are true) and factory management, offering employment opportunities in various sectors of the economy.
