Microsoft is introducing a new version of the Paint app for Windows 11 Insiders, which allows you to remove the background from any image, quickly and easily, with the click of a button.

The new version is now available to Windows 11 Insiders via the Dev and Canary channels.
After installation, users will notice a new button called “Remove Background” in the “Image” section of the toolbar. By clicking this button, users will be able to isolate the main object/face of the image and automatically remove the background with a simple click.

There is also the option to specify a specific area in the imagefrom which you want to remove the background.
According to BleepingComputer, the new feature works very well, isolating the main element of the image and removing the background, regardless of how many elements or how many color gradients there are in the photo.
Of course, this feature in Microsoft Paint is nothing new. There are many photo editing that offer this feature. But it is still useful for those who want to quickly get rid of a backgroundwithout having to install more advanced applications.

Before the release of the new version that supports the feature, Microsoft accidentally released a version of Paint that contained a company confidentiality banner, which was removed with the new update.
“Please note that an older version of this update (version 11.2306.28.0) was released earlier today and included a bug where a confidentiality banner was displayed. The newer update (version 11.2306.30.0) will fix the issue,” the company explains in announcement of the new Microsoft Paint feature.
The new background removal feature will be available in Paint version 11.2306.30.0 and later.
