Bad news! Hogwarts Legacy will not arrive on PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One on April 4, as previously announced, but on May 5. Therefore, owners of these older consoles will have to wait another two months or so.
We hope Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche Software don't push back the release date again. They've pushed back the game's release several times in recent years, and it was supposed to launch on all consoles on February 10th. However, a few months ago, they revealed that Hogwarts Legacy would only be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in February, while PS4 and Xbox One would get it on April 4th.

Hogwarts Legacy is an action role-playing game with a very interesting magical world for players to explore. Gamers can explore the castle and grounds of Hogwarts. They can also create their own characters and choose their name, gender, voice and appearance. It takes place in the Harry Potter, but long before the beloved little wizard was born!
The developers said “working hard to deliver the best possible experience across all platforms,” but they need more time to do so. While they didn’t give any details on that time frame, we now see that there is a delay in the release of Hogwarts Legacy on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The developers also didn’t mention anything about the Switch, so that version is likely scheduled to release on July 25th.
