The Galaxy A54 5G recently appeared on the 3C website, with the model number SM-A5460. This is the Chinese version of the phone. The European version has been identified as SM-A546B, while experts believe that the US version will be distinguished by the SM-A546U. Furthermore, from what can be gleaned from the 3C listing, it seems that the upcoming premium mid-ranger from Samsung will support 25W fast wired charging – a feature that remains unchanged from this year’s Galaxy A53 5G.

The Galaxy A54 5G's appearance on the 3C website suggests that its launch could come sooner than initially thought. Samsung launched the Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A52 5G in March 2022 and 2021, respectively. So, we expected the new model to arrive in March 2023 – however, the previous two models didn't receive 3C certification until January of their respective years. This suggests that Samsung is planning to release the Galaxy A54 5G earlier than expected.
As of now, we don't have any other information or even a rumor regarding the device's early launch. So, for now, it remains pure speculation. However, we hope to learn more about the Galaxy A54 5G and its possible release schedule in the coming weeks.

As for the rear camera, Samsung is apparently going to remove the depth sensor for next year's Galaxy A series phones. While this removal is not a major one, the phone may feature a slightly larger battery. It's possible that removing one camera freed up more space for the larger battery. We'll keep you posted on any new information regarding the Galaxy A54 5G.
