The rumors about the much-talked-about Galaxy S8 are endless! The new Galaxy S series smartphone is set to be released on April 18th, and a real-life image of it has recently been leaked online.
The image posted on Slashleaks reveals that the Galaxy S8 will be in a metallic gold color with a dual-curved display. The image confirms all the rumored changes, including the absence of a home button and the lack of bezels on the top and bottom of the device.
The Samsung is located at the bottom, exactly where previous models had the “home button”.
It is claimed that the navigation keys of the new smartphone will be 3D Touch for more functionality. Specifically, in the new Galaxy , the buttons that are not in use will disappear in order to offer more space on the full screen. Some, with a dose of exaggeration, claim that the new smartphone will offer the ability to go back and forth through user gestures. Of course, this kind of technology seems unlikely for a mobile device based on the capabilities offered so far by manufacturing companies. However, Samsung may also pleasantly surprise us.
It is expected to feature a 5.7-inch display. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 SoC with 8GB of RAM. This information will remain in the realm of speculation until the official launch of the Galaxy S8.
At the moment, no photo of the back of the phone has been leaked that would reveal the existence of a dual camera and a fingerprint scanner. But let's not get carried away, since there are only a few months left until its official presentation!
