Important and internationally renowned Greek artists join forces in this innovative venture of the new Greek start-up that is beginning to conquer the world by offering a high artistic, pedagogical, educational and entertaining result: Diamantis Karanastasis (Conception – Direction – Narration), Philippos Photiadis (Image Design) and Stavros Gasparatos (Music Composition – Sound Design). In the series “Ancient Drama” - where the entire story develops through interactive pages in which the user comes into contact with each myth by discovering the actions, speech, texts and sounds - the beginning is with Aristophanes’ “Birds” and in the immediate future Aeschylus’ “Prometheus” and Euripides’ “Helen” arrive.

Two Athenian friends, Peistheteros and Euelpides, dream of living in a place where tranquility, joy and peace will prevail. They will meet the woodcock and then Peistheteros will set out to found a new city, the city of birds in the ethers, in the interval between the world of men and the world of the gods.
Will they manage to build their own Nephelococcygea? Will they find the help they need or will they encounter resistance? Will the other birds show the same enthusiasm? What reason will the gods have in this? Is it easy to dream of something completely new? How easy is it to build your own utopia?
The goal of birigogo.gr is:
-The introduction of children to the Ancient Greek poets.
-The familiarization of children with Mythology and Greek History, through audiovisual material and simple interactions.
-The initiation of children, through technology, to the stakes, ethics, myths, language and values that ancient poets negotiate, record and creatively manage in their work.
-The interactive, enjoyable and creative approach to the myths and texts that shaped global dramaturgy and form the basis of our cultural heritage.
The concept and creation of the applications belongs to Diamantis Karanastasis (www.diamantiskaranastasis.com & www.dacos.gr) who is responsible for the direction, the texts and the entire production and implementation of the new original interactive applications and also voices the Greek narration of the texts. This is an idea whose implementation is the result of a multi-year effort.
