Apple unveiled the Apple Watch Series 7 at its September “California Streaming” event, alongside the iPhone 13 models, but at the time it simply said the new Apple Watch would be available later in the fall.

Prosser says that Apple has begun “briefing the press” to expect more information about the Series 7 “in the coming weeks,” with no other details available. Of course, this information hasn’t been officially confirmed, so we can’t be sure it’s true.

However, mid-October is a reasonable guess and timeline for the release , especially as we're expecting another event this year, which could take place in mid-to-late October.
The Apple Watch Series 7 didn't have the design changes we were expecting, including the flat design that Prosser described earlier this year. There's a redesign with a larger screen, thinner bezels, and new 41mm and 45mm size options, but the overall curved design of the Apple Watch remains the same.
