Apple is set to release new iPad Pro with the A14X chip, 5G, and a Mini-LED display in the first half of 2021! The source of the information is the Twitter account “L0vetodream”, which has published reliable information in the past.
L0vetodream had revealed, before anyone else, information about Apple's new iPhone SE , which ultimately turned out to be true.
The leak claims that Apple's new iPad Pros will be equipped with Qualcomm 's Snapdragon X55 modem . The Snapdragon X55 supports both mmWave and sub-6GHz . mmWave is a set of 5G frequencies that promises very fast speeds over short distances, especially in densely populated urban areas. In comparison, sub-6GHz 5G is relatively slower, but signals travel longer distances, serving suburbs and rural areas more effectively.
The X55 modem is expected to be integrated into Apple's new iPhone models, the iPhone 12, while it is said to be developing its own 5G-based technologyfor future devices.
We've seen various sources talk about a "Late 2020" model as an upgrade to the iPad Pro, including Chi Kuo and Jon Prosser. Now, from what many reports suggest, Apple's new A14X/5G/Mini-LED models are more likely to be released in 2021.Of course, this makes more sense, given that Apple only upgraded the iPad Pro in March of this year, and although it was a relatively minor upgrade, an additional release in the same year would be very short.
The list of new features of the latest iPad Pro includes the A12Z Bionic chip, which is similar to the A12X, an Ultra-Wide camera with 0.5x zoom, a LiDAR scanner for enhanced and augmented reality, and better-sounding microphones.
We only have to wait for an announcement from Apple to verify the new information that has come to light.
