How to clear your search history on Facebook? Nowadays, social media has become a way of life and is an integral part of the daily lives of the largest percentage of people worldwide, especially young people. However, constant activity is inextricably linked to the exposure and leakage of personal information and data. A typical example is the search history in general on the internet but also in applications found on it, such as Facebook. Therefore, it is important for users to know some information about the search history, such as how they can find it and how to delete all or some of its elements individually.
Initially, the way a user can locate their search history differs depending on what app they are using – iOS , Android– or website (e.g. Facebook).
-Steps for iOS (app version):
Tap the three horizontal lines and go to Settings and then Activity Log .


Click “Category” in the drop-down menu and select the “Search History” . You will then be shown your Recent Search History.



-Steps for Android (app version):
Tap the three horizontal lines, scroll down to Help and Settings , and then select “Activity Log .”


Tap the ''Filter'' setting and then select the ' 'Search History'' option. You will then be shown your recent search history.



-Steps for the Facebook application (website):
Go to your profile and click on the “View Activity Log” .

In the Filters sidebar on the left, click '' More' '.

Then, click on the “Search History” . You will be shown all the searches you have made on Facebook.

To clear all Search History, tap or click “ Clear Searches.” This is the same for all devices.

To delete a single item individually on iOS or Android (app), tap the X on the item you want to delete, while on the web version of Facebook, tap ''''and then Delete .
