Android may be the most popular operating system right now, as it runs on the majority of mobile devices worldwide, but it seems that when it comes to watching adult content videos on Pornhub, iOS is surpassing it.
As Pornhub's 2019 traffic report reveals, iOS users account for 52.8% of mobile devices, while Android users account for 46.6%. Furthermore, iOS users account for a larger number than Android users compared to 2018.
According to Pornhub, India, where Android is the most popular platform, saw a decline in traffic to the site, which in turn led to an overall decline in Android's share.
India, which had the 3rd highest traffic to Pornhub last year, has fallen to 12th place this year. A major reason behind this drop is that almost all the leading internet service providers in the country have blocked access to adult websites following directives issued by the country's government.
Now, when it comes to desktops, Windows remained in first place, but its share decreased by 3% to 75.5%. Traffic from macOS , on the other hand, has increased and now represents 16.7% of desktops.
Additionally, in 2019, approximately 6.83 million videos were uploaded, which corresponds to 169 years of content. So according to Pornhub, if a person wanted to watch all of these videos, they would have to have started in 1850!
