Change wallpaper in Windows 10 based on time of day

If you're looking for an easy way to automatically change your Windows 10 wallpaper based on specific times of day, then you'll need a third-party program, such as Wallpaper Change Scheduler from FutureSight Technologies.

As you may know, Windows 10 (as well as Windows 7 and Windows 8) supports automatic wallpaper changes, but the desktop slideshow feature can't change the wallpaper based on the time of day. It can only change wallpapers at selected intervals, such as every minute, every hour, etc. Also, even though you can set it to change the wallpaper every hour, it doesn't work if you turn off your computer.
Something similar is available in the Mojave version of Apple's macOS, which has a new feature called Dynamic Desktop built in, which allows you to automatically change your desktop wallpaper based on the time of day. But, let's get back to Windows.
Change Windows 10 Desktop Based on Time of Day
Wallpaper Change Scheduler is a free program designed to allow Windows 10, Windows 8, and Windows 7 users to automatically change their wallpaper based on the time of day, either daily or weekly. That means you can have a new wallpaper for each specific time of day!
Setting up the program is pretty easy. After downloading and running the program, you just need to click the “Add Event” button. Select the “Trigger” box as “Daily,” select the time you want your wallpaper to change or rotate, and then select the wallpaper you want to see at the selected time. Click the “Create” button.
If you want to change your wallpaper based on the time of day, you need to add a wallpaper for each time of day you want the change to occur. That is, if you want it to change every hour, you will have to create a total of twenty-four events (one event for each hour) with twenty-four different wallpapers.
The program was originally designed for Windows 7 and has not been updated for a long time. However, it is fully compatible with Windows 10 and works fine.
