SnoopSnitch: did your Android manufacturer trick you?

SnoopSnitch: It seems that some Android device manufacturers are claiming that their devices are up to date when they are not. Below we will see how you can check if your Android smartphone is up to date. First you will need to go to the Google Play Store and download SnoopSnitch, an app developed by Security Research Labs, the company that first discovered that Android mobile manufacturers are not being honest with their customers. The app is free and takes a few seconds to download and install. After installing the app, click on the Android patch level analysis that appears at the top of the screen and then select Start test . The tests will take some time, but the results will justify you. SnoopSnitch will discover and report to you not only the vulnerabilities that have been fixed, but also the missing patches, as well as new vulnerabilities that have not yet been fixed. For more information about the results, consult the Security Research Labs faq . Note: SnoopSnitch also claims to be able to detect “stingray” phone trackers, but this feature may be inaccurate. What can you do with the information? If your device is up to date, all is well. If not, then you know for sure that the manufacturer you trust is not trustworthy.SnoopSnitch
