Microsoft has released some updates that will resolve errors experienced by HP and Intel devices that have upgraded to Windows 10, version 1809.
The release of Windows 10 October 2018 Update (version 1809) was not very pleasant with users reporting all sorts of bugs, including issues that corrupt sound and cause BSODs after the upgrade.
The first issue concerns the audio hardware of Intel devices running Windows 10 (version 1809). The KB4468550 update is supposed to restore sound on affected machines.
The patch is being released on Windows Update for affected systems and users can also download it from the Microsoft Update Catalog. A system restart is required to complete the installation.

The KB4468304 update fixes a BSOD error on HP devices that occurs after upgrading to Windows 10 (version 1809). Microsoft confirmed this issue on Friday, and the fix is now available on Windows Update and the Microsoft Update Catalog. Microsoft says that the same error could also occur on Windows 10 version 1803 (April 2018 Update), so the update will also be offered to systems running the older version.
For your information, the Windows 10 October 2018 Update has been retired so no system can install it.
