Remember when the 400GB microSD card was released? You must have been excited. But now the new 512GB microSD card from Integral Memory will increase your excitement!
That's right: If you really need more storage on Android or camera, you can now increase your device's capacity to half a terabyte with a tiny microSD card, the widest card of its kind ever made.
The card supports the Video Speed Class 10 (V10) standard, which means it has a minimum sequential write speed of 10MB/s, but Integral Memory says the card can deliver transfer speeds of up to 80MB/s. In other words, it's fast.
While 512GB may sound like a lot for most users, those who record a lot of 4K video (and with today's smartphones, 4K video recording is a common feature) will appreciate the extra storage space.
The card will be available in February of this year, but there is no information yet on its price.
