Ashampoo Spectre Meltdown CPU Checker: As you may have already read in the last few days, the Spectre and Meltdown vulnerabilities have reached unprecedented proportions. Naturally, many are wondering if they have been affected and if updates have already been developed to secure their devices.
Microsoft recently released a scan routine that can determine if a system is vulnerable, but unfortunately, it is a script-based approach that requires some skill and knowledge to operate.
This is why software development company Ashampoo developed and released Ashampoo Specter Meltdown CPU Checker.
The application was developed based on the routine provided by Microsoft but is much easier to use.
The program does not require any registration or installation and is free to use.
